Hello again! It’s been almost two years since I’ve posted here, but I’m finally back with a new novel, a dark college bully romance titled Handsome Cruelty.

I understand this is quite a departure from my earlier book, Falling for the Rainforest Doctor, but my imagination has led me down a more sensuous, erotic path.

This is the first of three books in a series I’m writing called The Birddogs, with the second book, titled Handsome Malice, due out in December of this year.

Here is a brief description:

Chad DeJean is gorgeous, filthy rich, and a member of the Birddogs – an elite and powerful fraternity of alpha males who dominate the campus of Fitler University.

He’s also a murderer. At least according to the rumors floating around the halls of the school.

When I accept the invitation to pledge their overprivileged boys’ club, sent to me anonymously from a mole inside the fraternity, Chad is immediately suspicious. I tell him I’m pledging to break a glass ceiling – to become the first woman to enter their secret society – but I’m really investigating the murder of their treasurer, hoping to write an exposé for the college newspaper.

The deeper I get, the more dangerous things become. Soon I’m forced to submit to Chad totally and without reservation, and I start to realize his aggression and degradation may have a larger purpose – to save my life.

But can I trust him enough to tell him how I really feel? Or admit that I’m writing a story that will take down the Birddogs, and free him from their powerful grasp?
